REDSPACE creates films. The spectrum ranges from commercials and image films to film trailers, animation and event films to short feature films.

Commercial Film

We create your commission film from concept to shooting to mastering the final film, no matter if it is an advertising film, image film or an event recording.

Post-Production

We plan and organize everything in the post-production step for you. We coordinate all parties involved, such as your sound studio, and assemble individual parts such as picture and sound tracks, subtitles and graphics to your finished film.

DCP – DIGITAL CINEMA PACKAGE

We make sure that your film gets to the cinema smoothly. We create your DCP, encrypt it optionally and issue the necessary KDM. We can also process your existing DCP and add subtitles or language versions. The DCP delivery via our own distribution network in Switzerland or internationally happens directly to the playback server in the cinema of your choice. We produce Digital Cinema Packages of feature films, trailers and short films, but also of commercials and other films.

VOD – VIDEO ON DEMAND

With Video-on-demand (VOD) you can make your film library accessible at any time. We realise your own film streaming portal and take care of its ongoing management. We also prepare, encode and quality check your films for VOD.

DESIGN, GRAPHICS and PRINTING PRODUCTS

We design your visual appearance and your communication – from logo to overall branding, CI and CD. Honest brand consulting from another perspective or simply graphics for print, film and online usage. Examples: Film opening and closing credits, captions and titles, design of posters, flyers and other printed products.

Subtitles

We take care of your subtitles for you and create the spotting or process existing subtitles further and adapt them to our high quality standards and to current standards.
We can provide translations in-house or with external partners in a variety of languages.

EDITING – FEATURE, SERIES, TRAILER

We give your film material the right rhythm and narrative structure to create an effective overall work.

COLOR GRADING

The right look gives your film the desired emotions and the final touch.

ENCODING AND MASTERING OF VOD, DVD, BLU-RAY, BROADCAST-FILES

We take care of the encoding, menu design, authoring and subtitle preparation for your desired final format and deliver directly to the replication plant, the broadcaster or wherever the film needs to be projected.

IMF – INTEROPERABLE MASTER FORMAT

An IMF created by us serves as the master of all versions of a film, including language versions and subtitles. You can use the IMF to distribute and archive your film. Netflix in particular accepts content in this format.

DATA MANAGEMENT AND ARCHIVING

We offer secure and redundant storage and long-term archiving of your projects, so that you have carefree access to your data even years later. We can also handle the delivery to external archives such as the Cinematheque Suisse.

BADENFAHRT-FILM

Every 10 years, one of the largest folk festivals in Switzerland puts the small town of Baden in a positive state of emergency. What motivates countless people to take part in shaping the Badenfahrt and to make unbelievable efforts in the most diverse associations? Our first feature-length film, produced by ourselves, shows the emotions of those who put the festival on its feet. The production of the film combines almost all the services of REDSPACE AG in a single project.

FILM COURSE

We learn to read and write early in our lives. But when do we learn to deal with the increasingly important medium of film? Now! In our film course for beginners you will gain insight into filmmaking from the conception, shooting and post-production to the finished film. Ideal for training, as a customer event or for school classes.
